Burley Moor Run

The 8th Burley Moor run took place on Saturday as part of the Burley village summer festival (even though it’s November) The route is 11k with about 380m of climb over some classic fell terrain – steep ascents and descents, moorland tracks, and an obligatory amount of mud. Out of the 221 runners competing on a very sunny Saturday, Alex Robinson was first for Nidd in 56:46, 57th overall, followed by Simon Franklin (running for Horsforth Fellandale on this occasion – we’ll let him off) who finished 82nd with a time of 59:42.
