The Sheffield Festival Indoor Open Track and Field meeting will be held at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield on Sunday 26th January 2020.

Traditional indoor track and field events for athletes of all ages, comprising:-

Long Jump, High Jump, Shot.

60m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m.

Many of the events are over-subscribed, so being able to enter on the day for the Track and Field is unlikely. Details of entries and closed events will be published near the date. Please book early to avoid disappointment.

Directions and a map to the stadium can be found here. Please note that E.I.S. levy a £5.00 charge for using their car parks. There is limited free parking on surrounding streets, but this may be difficult, depending on any other events in the vicinity.

The Blyth Sportshall Series provides opportunities for young people to participate in athletics in a fun and supportive environment. There is no requirement to be part of an athletics club, and we fully encourage those new to the sport.

All athletes will receive a medal at each meeting. The winning club will also receive a trophy. Athletes that break an all-time record will receive a certificate. Please note that there will are no individual rankings/prizes this year, but full results will be published as always. This is to encourage participation, learning and enjoyment ahead of competition.

There is an entry limit of 80 athletes per meeting. Entry Fee £5 per meeting

This is usually 4 events from May to September. More information for the 2020 season will be available soon.There are 3 options available for competing in the Summer League:

1. Season Ticket – £25 which covers up to 3 events at each of the 4 meetings. This option is available pre-entry or entry on the day.
2. Pre-entry for 22 April – £4 per event. Payment for other dates in the series dates can be purchased on the day of that meeting. It is not possible to pre-enter for the May and September meetings.
3. Entry on the day – £4 per event. Please note that registration closes promptly at midday
