The Juniors collect all their awards after they have been successful in the Winter League.
Winter Series
The Juniors Winter race season is focused around the PECO Cross Country series of races and some other races around our area. The races are held on Saturday or Sunday mornings in the local West Yorkshire area.
Race Rules
Altogether we have 10 races in the series and you can choose to do as many as you wish. Athletes who do 3 of the races will receive a participation award. For 5 or more races you will qualify for a championship medal. The best points from 5 races will count towards an overall boys and girls winner for both the under and over 12 categories. Points will be awarded according to your finishing place in relation to other Nidd Valley Juniors.
Don’t forget that you will need to wear you Nidd Valley Junior vest when taking part in any of these events.
Race Entry
Parkruns are free to enter. You simply enter your details online and will be sent a barcode to take with you. Fun run details will be put on the organisers website for each event and fun runners usually enter on the day. Further information regarding the PECO’s can be found on the PECO x-country website. Numbers can be obtained from the club rep
