Well, doesn’t it feel good to be back!
Tuesday’s evening run was a little bit different and at times awkward, but I saw lots of happy Nidders, lots of sensible Nidders running at a safe social distance, all in groups of 6 so I’m calling that a success!
Thanks to all the people leading groups and to all of you for just being yourselves!
Thursday’s road group went without any hiccups too, and I enjoyed the off road route around Thruscross Reservoir.
Of course, this past week some members have been doing their mile runs, as part of our virtual road race championship. I understand from our captains that lots of you have taken part and there’s been some great performances. You still have until midnight tonight to email your results to Captains Sarah or Kevin.

Off road, we’re thinking not necessarily full on fell, moor, bogs, sand dunes or mountains unless of course you chose to do that, but definitely not tarmac roads, athletic tracks or treadmills!
We trust you, yes I know, how naive of us!
If the vast majority of your route is off road then its an off road route but lets play fair!
