Good Evening Nidds,
Peco Results, Relays and Presentations.
Firstly Martin, Michelle and I would like to thank all those that took part in the Pecos, although we did not win any team prizes, the Nidd Valley Ladies Vet Premier Division came closed, coming third, just one point behind Wetherby Runners, but we still had some individual successes for Sue Simpson 3rd vet L55, Andy Todd 2nd Vet M55 and Tony Ledwaba-Chapman 2nd MV75. Andy is also a reserve for one of the PECO v WYWL Relay teams- well done brilliant performances.

The Peco v WYWl Relays – the annual end-of season relays will take place on Sunday 31st March and are being hosted this year by the West Yorkshire Winter League and will be at the John Charles Stadium. Full details will be posted on the PECO League web site as soon as they are available, but the Race HQ will be the Phoenix Bar at John Charles and the route will be 3 miles approx. for Seniors and 1 mile approx. for Juniors. Registration will open at 9.00am; the Junior Relay will start at 10.00am and the Senior Relay at 11.00am. If you would like to be part of a Nidd Valley Relay team then please let me know. There are 3 people required for each relay team, and depending on how many people want to take part we will look to put some teams together. If you would like to be in a team then please email me asap but no later than next Wednesday 13th March.
This year the senior presentations will not be after the relays and instead they are being held at The Wardrobe in Leeds on Friday 29th March (starting at 7.30pm). There will be a DJ and a decent buffet provided. Tickets will be £5 per head, and will be available to buy on RaceBest from today, Thursday 7th March. They will be available until March 22nd only, as the organisers need to notify the caterers of numbers a week before the event. All Senior Individual and Team prizes will be presented on this evening.
Well done everyone we had a great turn out at all the Peco races this year, with lots of you taking part for the first time. I do hope you have all enjoyed XC as much as I have.
Sarah
