As one bank holiday comes to an end do not fear another looms just around the corner and with it a fab fell race, and number 4 in this year’s fell champs.
The Cake Race, a 10 mile 1700 feet of climb race making it a BM fell race, takes place on Saturday 4th May at 11am. Details below.
There are still entries available, and remember if you bake a cake you get your entry fee back. As well as running prizes there are prizes for cakes, and even if you don’t win a prize there’s loads of cake to devour at the end of the race!
Remember to bring full kit, although depending on the weather this may get relaxed on the day. Also if it is hot I would advise bringing water as although you run near two reservoirs there is no water on the course. Although there is a handy pub at the end for rehydration!
Finally it is a bit of a drive to Diggle and parking is limited so please try and car share.
