Afternoon All,
I hope you have all had a good weekend, racing, relaxing or whatever you’ve been up to. Its almost summer and we have a busy time ahead of us with evening league races, weekend races, coaching sessions and of course the very popular pub runs which start in June.
Summer Training / Coaching Plan Information. The bed race training continues, you’re all welcome to go to Conyngham Hall, Knaresborough and join in but check first with the team captains. The fell sessions are to continue with the second session on 28th May. A series of 6 interval sessions are planned too, beginning in July. Graham Hyde has kindly put all the relevant dates for these on our NVRR website. Please take the time to look and give some new sessions a go.
The Week Ahead.
Tuesday 21/05/19 Harrogate District Summer Race League.
The first of the evening league races takes place with Harrogate Harriers hosting. Beckwith Head Road. HG3 1RY
You will need to be there early for the 7.45pm start to allow plenty of time to collect your race number from either Martin Lofthouse or Sarah Chalmers.
I think the majority of the club members will be at this race but there is still an option to meet at the hockey club and have a social run with others that are not racing. Please note I’m not aware of anyone actually opening up the hockey club so there may be no changing facilities. I’m not aware of any bed race teams training on Tuesday.
