Afternoon All
It’s September and in my opinion this is the best month of the year! Cooler weather, great for running and time to focus training towards the cross country season. Of course the fact that it’s the month of my birthday has absolutely nothing to with it, honestly!
We’re into the final 4 weeks of the half marathon plan too, so dig deep and remember the race will be upon you really soon; oh and the fish and chips!
The Week Ahead.
Tuesday 3/9/19. Knaresborough Fish and Chip Run.
It’s the last of our pub runs with a bit of a difference. We’re meeting at the Cenotaph in Knaresborough ready to run for 7pm with a fish and chip supper at the end.
Please arrive early to pay for your order in advance and check out the email from Nadene Wilkinson for further details.
There will be the usual social run from the club too.
Thursday 5/9/19. Intervals.
Those people following the Redcar half marathon plan will have an interval session to do at some point this week.
Cath Barber has kindly volunteered to take the session and will be on the Stray near Slingsby walk at the hospital end ready to start for 19:10 hours.
Everyone is welcome, whether you’re racing at Redcar or not.
Club Social Run.
I’m not able to be there so I will leave the choice to those of you in attendance.
