Afternoon All
So here we are, Christmas week, a chance to spend time with family and friends, to reflect on the year and to consider New Year plans.
It’s also a time to think of others less fortunate, those who are struggling with physical or mental challenges and to remember a little kindness goes a long way.
A quick reminder too that the hockey club is closed until 9th January 2020 so we don’t have any running planned for our usual Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Of course, there’s nothing stopping you arranging a get together for some training anytime between now and the start of our club runs in the New Year.
I will email again next week for a general catch up. In the meantime I know a few members are planning on doing the Harrogate Christmas Day Park Run and we have the inter club Harrogate Ringway Relay event on Sunday 5th January 2020 to look forward to.
Anyway, I would like to wish each and every one of you a very Merry Christmas and to thank you all for your support, your friendship and your commitment to the friendliest club that is Nidd Valley Road Runners.
