Week Ahead – Sunday 16th February 2020

Afternoon All,

Well, we are definitely having some testing weather at the moment, two storms in 2 weeks! It doesn’t appear to have put many people off running as I saw quite a few hardy Nidders, both adults and juniors, at Conyngham Hall park run yesterday.

This week ahead sees us start block three of the intervals, and move towards more speedy sessions. We don’t have any championship races next weekend either, so it’s a chance to dig deep and get in some solid winter training.

If you’re one of those people thinking twice about coming to the club on an evening, then just come along. It doesn’t matter if you jog a couple of miles, run a hard session or something in between. I will guarantee you that you’ll feel better afterwards.

Of course, we have quite a few members injured too, so where possible keep the contact with one another as it can be quite a lonely place.
