Tell us your name. | Dave Prince |
How and when did you first start running? | Probably 1984ish I entered a 10k with a mate form school. |
What brought you to Nidd Valley? | Mrs Prince got involved and I went along with her to an awards dinner. I spent all evening talking to Alan he seemed like a lovely and interesting guy. I was running events anyway, I thought I might as well wear a vest. |
When did you join Nidd Valley? | Not sure 2013/4/5? |
What is your favourite running music? Genre or specific tracks? | Sound of my heart in my ears. Running with music is wrong and will be banned when I am king. |
What is your favourite food before and after running? | Bacon before, chips and beer afterward. |
What is your best running tip that you would like to share with us? | Trying hard is easier than training, but not as successful a strategy. |
What is your proudest moment in your running career? | Beating Phil Ventress by virtue of superior pint drinking speed on the Charlesworth Chase. If more events finished this way I would do better. |
What are your running goals? | I really don’t have any race goals at the moment. To try and remain injury free and keep enjoying what little I do. |
What event are you training for at the moment? | Nominally the Turner Landscape but “training” is massively overstating my efforts. |
