Afternoon All
Well that was certainly a hot week, so hats off to everyone for getting out to run!
We’ve had a week of intervals, a hugely successful social pub run, people teaming up to run the Washburn Valley relay race and the James Herriot trail race this morning. It was nice to see some first timers at the James Herriot race and a huge congratulations to Adam Kirk who took 3rd place in the race.
I would like to thank everyone involved in making all of this possible as our events take a lot of organising using up precious time.
Apologies from me as I’ve not been around this week with a combination of a throat infection and managing niggles. I’ve taken advice and had a week off any form of exercise.
On the subject of illness, niggles and injuries, let’s remember our friends who might be struggling and keep up the contact where possible. It can be a lonely and frustrating journey back to recovery. The occasional call or message never goes amiss.
