Week Ahead – Monday 21st October 2019

Good morning everyone

Well, I returned from my Norwegian cruise yesterday to learn all about your phenomenal racing over the weekend. What an achievement by everyone!
We had members running marathons in York and Amsterdam and a male and female team in the British fell relay races in the Peak District. This is the first time we’ve had a female team, it’s a huge event in the fell racing calendar and quite an achievement for anyone to compete in such an event.

Congratulations to everyone taking part.

As you might expect I’m a little out of touch after my holiday but hope to be at the club on Tuesday to catch up and meet our couch to 5k Runners too. Sadly, I won’t be running as I’m still injured.

Please look out for emails relating to our Guy Fawkes race over the next few days as it’s only two weeks away. The marshals plan is complete and I know Debbie Dilasser has forwarded this to everyone involved.
Sam Fugill is our race director and has everything in hand but as the race approaches there may be additional emails with information or requests for assistance.

So, onto the week ahead.
