Week Ahead – Sunday 15th December 2019

Afternoon All

I hope everyone is well, that the mud-loving Peco runners are safe and warm, and that all of your Christmas plans are on track.
We have quite a few Christmas plans within the club this week too, with various social events and a bit of running!

Everything is explained below but I do need to inform you that the hockey club will be closed after next week until Thursday 9th January 2020.

So, here’s everything you need to know for the week ahead.

Tuesday 17/12/19 Hill Intervals 6/6

7pm from the club or 7.10pm at Springfield Avenue. Sarah and Phil will be there to coach you through the session. Please be warmed up and ready to run.
This is the last of the hill interval sessions but don’t get too excited as the next block of 6 week intervals begin early in the New Year!
Speed endurance intervals will start on Tuesday 7th January 2020.
Once again a huge thanks to Emma Kicks for coordinating this, for all the coaching and to all the club members leading sessions.

Thursday 19/12/19 Christmas Club Social Run.

If you haven’t done this before, make sure you do this if you can, on Thursday. It’s great fun for everyone.
We will be running at a very social pace from the club into town, through the shopping centre, usually through M&S, wishing shoppers a Merry Christmas; then off towards house Ventress to admire the Christmas decorations.
After this, we return to the club for drinks in the bar.
Feel free to dress up in anything Christmas, Disney or whatever takes your fancy, within reason!

Saturday 21/12/19.

All the events taking place today have been organised by Sarah Chalmers and Phil Ventress, and on behalf of everyone, I would like to thank them both for doing this. Organising large groups of people is a challenge and takes time and effort, so, thank you.
